Spin-off from NAIDOC week
Six bands from across the NT and the Tri-state region have been chosen to perform
At this year’s Annual Bush Bands Bash held in Alice Springs on Sunday 8th September.
The Mutitjulu and Docker River Band are two of the six chosen this year.
This was a spin off from the wonderful week we held here in Region 21 for NAIDOC Week.
Rise Ngurratjuta was the main sponsors and we should ensure we capitalise on their continuing success.
The team from Region 21 are going to Alice Springs to support our local communities.

Warren Mundine met with local representatives and community members to learn more about training, employment and business opportunities for the communities in this region.

RISE-Ngurratjuta Community Development Program

A Community Development Program in the South West Alice Region is providing community activities to help train and create employment pathways for local people.

The program is currently being delivered across three communities – Mutitjulu, Kaltukatjara, Imanpa.
